Omega
OMEGA watches are perfect examples of Swiss craftsmanship by a brand that has built a name and reputation on innovative watchmaking. It is constantly inspired by sports timekeeping, conquests of space (the Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph being the first watch on the moon, on Buzz Aldrin’s wrist), and of course, their enviable role in support of the world’s favourite spy. Bond, James Bond 007. Since 1932, the Omega brand have been the official timekeepers of the Olympic Games. In 1998, Omega became part of the Swatch brand which now manufactures Omega and other brands such as Blancpain, Swatch, and Breguet.
A Kiwi connection, Omega were official timekeepers of the 2021 America’s Cup and long-time sponsor for Emirates Team New Zealand during their winning campaign for the ‘Auld Mug’ on home waters in Auckland.
