Its 42mm stainless steel case, black dial and tachymeter bezel create the unmistakable appearance that has made the Speedmaster one of OMEGA's most enduring designs.
Introduced under OMEGA's newer PIC reference system around 1988, the 3590.50 continued the established Speedmaster Professional lineage through to approximately 1996. The ST145-022 / 145.0022 designation relates to the underlying case-reference lineage, while 3590.50 is the appropriate commercial reference for this generation.
At its heart is the celebrated OMEGA Calibre 861, a manually wound chronograph movement that succeeded the earlier Calibre 321 and powered the Speedmaster Professional for decades.
